About Charlie

Charles Shearer began his journey in music at 8 just years old when he started playing guitar. At 16, he formed his first band.The Lonesome Outlaw Band played together for 20 years.

Charles has continued in his success, having performed at many historic dance halls in Texas, recording numerous times in Nashville, and having his latest CD chart in the top 10 in Europe where he was named “Male Vocalist of the Year”by the European Country Music Association.

Currently, Charles is acoustic guitaranda lead vocalistfor the Texas Country Music Hall Of Fame Band and has enjoyed the last 4 years touring and playing guitar with country legend T.G. Sheppard.

As part of the Shawnda Rains Studio family, Charles teaches guitar and has written several songs recorded by up and coming young country artists.

About Lexi

Lexi Rains is the Director of the Performance Troupe Program, Vocal Coach, and Pageant Coach with Shawnda Rains Studio. 

With roots deep in music, Lexi was born on a Wednesday and on stage on Saturday! She is the founder of “Music Matters,” a non-profit organization, a National Influencer for the Country Music Association Foundation’s #ItStartswithME campaign, and the youngest member on the Denison Main Street Advisory Board & Denison Promotions committee. She previously served as the youngest member of the Denison Performing Arts Board of Directors.

Lexi recently set her sights on becoming a Children’s book author and in 2019, published “Harmony The Hippo,” sharing her story of losing and regaining confidence in her own musical talent. She was a Top 10 Finalist at Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen in June 201, Miss Plano 2022,  and a Top 10 Finalist for Miss TExas June of 2022. 

About Makenzie

Makenzie Rains Morrow is Director of the Performance Troupe Program, choreographer, stage presence coach, and vocal coach at Shawnda Rains Studios.

A country music performer coming from a musical family, Makenzie has been performing most of her life as a singer and dancer. She is vocally trained by her mother Shawnda Rains and teaches vocals and stage performance using her methods of proven success. She has an extensive background in Musical Theatre with leading roles in musicals such as: Mulan, Addams Family, The Little Mermaid, 9 to 5, and Hairspray.

Makenzie is a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK

About Grace

Grace Cacho is a vocal, piano, & ukulele coach, as well as an in-house songwriter at Shawnda Rains Studios.

Grace has an extensive performance background and training in multiple areas, musical genres and styles, including: Opera, Country, and Christian Music, Vocal Health, Piano, Ukulele, Dancing, and Acting. From adolescence to adult-hood, Grace has had numerous opportunities as an artist such as performing The BlueBird Cafe(Nashville, TN), The Rialto Theatre(Denison, TX), Recording her original music in Nashville, Jammin’ for Jesus(Branson Famous Theatre), and was in Artist Development with Capitol Records at the age of 13. 

While she grew up on-stage performing, Grace also grew up on-stage getting to do what she loves most – lead worship at her local church. After years of experience and growth as a worship leader, In 2015, Grace started mentoring young, aspiring church worship leaders and growing other local church worship teams. In addition to this, she has been featured as a songwriter and vocalist in her home church for her song “Alive in You” that she wrote at 16 years old.

In addition to a life filled with all things music and performing arts, Grace has recently shifted her focus to include photography and marketing, so she can help other aspiring artists thrive on their journeys.

About Bailey

Country music singer/songwriter Bailey Rae is an eighteen year old emerging artist. Her first single, “Never Been This Lonely,” written by Charlie Shearer, released in Jan 2020 and charted on the Texas Country Music Chart. “Never Been This Lonely” is nominated for Texas Country Music Association 2020 Songwriter of the Year and Josie Music Awards 2020 Contemporary Country Song of the Year.  Her music is available on all streaming platforms. 

This small town Oklahoma girl calls Texas her second home and was named the 2020 Ambassador for the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Prior to discovering her love for traditional country music, Bailey Rae developed a true passion for performing as a competitive clogger. She won several National Championships and competed at the World Dance Championship competition with her clogging team. Bailey Rae had been singing in church for years and after hearing of a vocal coach in Denison, Texas, she began performing with the Shawnda Rains Entertainment Group. At thirteen years old, Bailey Rae started the pursuit of country music as a career.

About Rosanna

Rosanna Pilcher considers herself fortunate to have worked with some of the best acting coaches and casting directors in LA, Austin, and Dallas, covering a variety of topics from film/television acting, commercials, the audition/interview process, the Meisner technique, and much more. Collaborating with other artists in an environment that encouraged depth, creativity, focus, and total commitment to the moment is what she credits to her talent in the field.

Discovering a passion for acting at a young age, Rosanna eventually attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Studies with a focus on education, and the University of Northern Colorado, adding a Master of Arts degree in Theatre Education with a focus on performing in and directing theatre and musical theatre.

After acting professionally in Austin and Los Angeles, Rosanna moved back to north Texas to marry her high school sweetheart and start a family. She spent 10 years as a high school and middle school theatre teacher and director, until her focus became bringing that theatrical technique to the camera, so she is thrilled to join Shawnda Rains Studios to further her work and contribution to aspiring actors.

About Callie

Callie Mikal is a dance teacher and choreographer with training in Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop. As a member of “Stagestruck” with Shawnda Rains Studio, she is also an aspiring Christian music artist, currently working on her single debut.

Callie is an 18-year-old small town girl from Oklahoma. She is a nursing student at Murray State College, and a youth leader and worship team member at New Life Family church in Boswell, Ok.

Callie started performing at 8 years old with the Victory Life Musical Kids Team and the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival Theatre. Five years ago, she joined Shawnda Rains Studio, and has since performed in shows in Branson, MO, Pigeon Forge, TN and at CMA Fest in Nashville, TN.

Today, Callie can be found performing almost every weekend at Opry shows and events. She is on staff with Shawnda Rains studio as a Choreographer and Beginners Dance Teacher. Her journey is far from over and she can’t wait to see what the future holds!
